"Somethin' more than we were meant for?" i think would work better as ; "Somethin' more than we were meant to be."

"But gets caught" - doesn't sound grammatically correct. "But not getting caught" maybe?

"Pete the rabbit," do you mean "Peter the rabbit?"

Other than those few points this is a really great song and i think it would sound great to music :)
